ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience with modern JavaScript and frameworks (React/Redux)
• Experience with CSS, HTML, and front end design
• Experience with Nodejs, Webpack, and websockets
• Experience developing and utilizing ReSTful interfaces
• Solid understanding of Object Oriented Analysis and Design
• Experience developing highly distributed, highly scalable, carrier-grade products
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required, both written and verbal
• The candidate must be able to successfully work in a team oriented environment
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and to work in a fast paced, innovative environment
• Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
ADDITIONAL ASSETS:
• Experience in software development using Java
• Knowledge of SDN and related OpenSource projects including OpenDaylight and ONOS
• Knowledge of web development/JS/CSS/HTML5
• Scripting languages (ie. Perl, Python)
• Familiar or proficient with UNIX/Linux OS and available shells
• Knowledge/experience in Relational and Graph databases
• Experience developing products in the IP networking space on the EMS or the NE
• Experience developing software to support IP Protocols - OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, MPLS, GMPLS
• Experience developing software for IP services – L3 VPN, L2 VPN, VLL
• Knowledge of modern SDN-related protocols – PCE-P, OpenFlow
• Knowledge of network management concepts and basic protocols (e.g. SNMP, NetConf, ReST)
