About Mobile Networks

Mobile Networks, which includes mobile network products, network deployment and technical support services, and related network management. This business group will offer the full portfolio for customers wanting to buy mobile access networks. It target leadership in key technologies such as 5G, ORAN and vRAN.

Job Description

Nokia Network Operations Master is a cloud native telecommunications network management product. We are looking for a person with strong User Interface development skills, with proven previous experience, to act as UI lead architect steering the UI evolution and development in the product.

As an architect in the lead, your main responsibilities will be guiding the teams who are developing and testing the UI software components. You participate in the design reviews and validate the designs. You have a vision of where to take the UI development, and technical competence to translate your vision to practical actions. You drive UI related development and create and maintain UI related guidelines, roadmaps and architecture documentation. You are a good team player with excellent interpersonal skills, always ready to share your knowledge and coach others, and you speak fluent English. You have a solid understanding of DevOps and agile software development, and you’re well familiar with software quality processes. Knowledge about telecommunications networks management is considered a plus.

Job Responsibilities & Competencies

You will be the lead UI architect in a multi-site development organization developing a cloud native Network Management System

• You are responsible for UI requirement analysis and UI architecture evolution

• You run UI architecture community practices

• You support efforts that improve operational efficiency in UI development area

• You provide guidance and technical support to R&D teams developing UI components

• You collaborate with Product Management and understand the requirements coming from them on UI development

• You drive the UI requirements to implementation

• You support and coach the R&D teams in UI development

• You are responsible for UI evolution roadmapping

• You create innovative prototypes, to explore and demonstrate the possibilities in UI development

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in software development.

• Experience of microservices architecture

• Self-driven, taking responsibility of own work

• Experience of lean and agile methods

• Good know-how of DevOps and CI/CD and related tools (like Jenkins and Git/Gerrit)

• Deep technical understanding of following technologies: React, Redux / Redux Toolkit, JavaScript ES6, HTML-5 / CSS, Node.js, Webpack, Docker, Kubernetes
