The GS CTO organization is responsible for designing and delivering Telecom VA (Virtual Assistant) solution for the GS organization. The aim of VA is to assist different Engineer profiles dealing with Nokia Network field services such as technical support, maintenance, deployment, upgrade or operation. The benefits of VA are cost reductions by automating process, and innovative assistance based on AI solutions.

The AI & BI delivery unit is in charge of the solution development and technical capability of MIKA, the Multi-Purpose Virtual Assistant for GS.


General Purpose


We are looking for a Telecom AI ChatBot System Engineer to define and design the new features of MIKA and script the dialogue of MIKAThe candidate has broad knowledge of mobile telecommunication networks as well as strong experience in AI technologies, chatbots, conversational models, Conversational User Interfaces and services delivery. 


 Main Responsibility Area


The Telecom AI ChatBot System Engineer is in charge of the delivery of a customer Use Case. He collects and elaborates the requirements in collaboration with the customer and the related SME, and designs the solution leveraging Nokia Networks operation solutions and GS AI portfolio. He identifies the User Stories to be implemented by MIKA Framework team and implements the dialog flows.


Position Description


As a member of cross-functional service development team, the Telecom AI ChatBot System Engineer is responsible for the delivery and continuous improvements of Digital Assistant Use Cases.

  • Establish requirements, by capturing the voice of customer, that is to understand the features that adds maximum value to the engineer as end user and perform interviews to end users to that end
  • Design the solution consistent with reference architecture and dialoging with enterprises architects.
  • Identify the Data sources, Nokia AI Services and consolidate the API with the owners
  • Accountable for UX
  • Define the User Stories in collaboration with R&D Framework team and and manage detailed user interface specifications
  • Build conversation models
  • Participate to validation tests / UAT test  (eg test plan)
  • Visualise indicators in an offline dashboard and improve the Use Cases
  • Add to engineering team’s culture of high quality

Position Requirements 

  • Deep understanding in Telecommunication systems and MN technologies, products and solutions
  • Experience in Network operations or support is nice to have
  • Specification Requirement Management, Customer Business Understanding
  • Capability to combine technology/product/service topics with customer requirements
  • Solid understanding of content design
  • Experience of working with NLU/NLP (IBM Watson, Google, Microsoft Luis, Amazon Echo) and implementing Virtual Assistant/Chatbot technologies
  • Experience of working with Search Engine (ELK) and Analytics tools (Kibana)
  • Experienced knowledge of artificial intelligence services (NLP, STT, Translation) or machine learning
  • Experience of working with APIs, WebHooks
  • Strong project organization, coordination, execution, collaboration and communication skills
  • Strong design back ground, especially in user interfaces
  • Work in Agile development and DevOps
  • Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal
  • Excellent listening, presentation, and consultative skills.
  • Experience to work in multicultural environment, virtual teams across several locations.
  • Desire to learn new skills and new technologies
  • Willingness and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong team player and strong networking skills
  • Plus: Ability to identify problems to which data science can be applied and initiate solutions.
