Software Support Engineer
- Troubleshoot and provide resolutions of technical issues in mission-critical OSS systems
- Develop, test and deliver fixes and workarounds in code and configuration of customer solutions
- Reproduce and document software defects
- Track support requests and follow SLAs
- Provide technical consultancy related to Comptel products
- Analyze and tune customer environments
- Update functional specifications
- Create and execute test reports
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience working in UNIX/Linux environments
- Basic knowledge and experience in Java, Perl, TCL or shell scripting
- Understanding of databases and SQL
- Experience in implementing or testing software solutions
- Customer oriented
- Self-starter, adaptable, well organized team player able to communicate freely in a multinational team
- Proficiency in English, written and verbal
- Experience working and designing within a graphical process modelling framework
- Knowledge of OSS/BSS environments and TelCo industry common processes
- Experience in network administration
- Knowledge of XML/SOA and Web services
- Experience in similar position, working as 2/3 level technical support
