We are looking for a quality centric Testing Professional to strengthen our Tampere R&D team. Our team is one of the most international teams in Nokia Finland, and main language in use is English.

What you will learn and contribute to

Are you passionate about creating great products that our customers love?
As part of our team, you will:

  • Own, maintain and improve the overall Test Strategy in a microservice environment including strong focus on shifting the testing to left and enforce its usage in development teams within one Agile Release Train
  • Work on Test and process automation to enable continuous flow of value to the Customer (including CI in DevOps mode)
  • Assure proper Test Coverage, including Technical Risks, NFRs, and Customer specific configurations and requirements, building on Automated Test Reporting and Metrics
  • Improve continuously our Testing Processes and tooling as well as our ways of working within our Agile Release Train for achieving even greater results in the future
  • Help R&D leaders to improve Test Competences within the R&D team members

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse technology stack including Pact, TestCafe, Robot Framework, k6 and more. We build our testing solutions utilizing Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes and we put strong emphasis on DevOps practices.

Your skills and experience

 You have:

  • proven track record working in agile software development organization in a testing related position
  • strong skills in various testing and test automation practices and tools to facilitate discussion with teams and technical experts
  • an analytical and systematic working style and ability to prioritize the work (your own and others)
  • good communication and presentation skills, also in English
  • Team work skills to work as a member of a team, and cross-functionally with multiple teams and stakeholders.

It would be good if you also had:

  • Basic knowledge on mobile network technologies and network management
  • Good understanding of technical SW engineering practices, preferably in a cloud environment.
  • Ability to take ownership and manage agreed activities in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
