 Mobile Networks, which includes mobile network products, network deployment and technical support services, and related network management. This business group will offer the full portfolio for customers wanting to buy mobile access networks. It target leadership in key technologies such as 5G, ORAN and vRAN

 

We are looking for Technical Specialist, SoC Modeling to our SoC Architecture and Specification organization. An experienced engineer in SoC architecture, modeling and development activities. An engineer who can: define SoC architectural structures, create simulation models, understands SoC design, integration, implementation and modeling aspects.  You need to have both willingness to study things in detail to complete needed feasibility studies and self-motivated with Drive for Results-attitude to complete your tasks in required schedule. 

   
Main Responsibility Area 
 
As a Technical Specialist, you will be part of SoC Architecture and Specification (A&S) team defining new 5G chipsets in close co-operation with other SoC and BTS A&S teams. You will help to define and implement methodologies used across the team to estimate and analyze SoC performance.  In this role you will work closely with SoC architects to develop system and performance models using high-level languages to perform architectural analysis and enable pre-silicon software development.  You will also have the responsibilities in: gathering needs and requirements for future SoCs, studying the new features and completing feasibility studies for those, continuously improving the architecture simulation models and tools, reviewing documents, and creating architecture documentation for SoCs. 

 

Job Description:


•    System and performance modeling of SoC for architecture exploration and validation
•    Evaluate different architectures through modeling techniques
•    Implement tools, methods and processes to create efficient environment for SoC modeling. 
•    Review of SoC architecture, functional, design and verification documents
•    SoC requirement management, with other DU/BU representatives and Product management
•    Cooperate with internal customers, system engineers, architects, SoC suppliers and other relevant functions to solve technical issues for quality. 
•    Supporting other SoC teams like: device architects, chief engineers, roadmap owners.

 

Requirements: 


•    Master’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent       
•    7+ years’ experience in SoC development and modeling. 
•    Knowledge with languages for modeling including Matlab, C/C++. 
•    Knowledge of EDA tools and environments for modeling.
•    Knowledge of Arm Fast Models or similar virtual models is a plus.
•    Experience in developing high-level architectural and functional models
•    Experience with Functional Virtual Prototypes and SystemC is considered as advantage. 
•    Good understanding of digital signal processing and related mathematics
•    SW / HW design experience is considered as advantage. 
•    Good knowledge of SoC architecture, design, integration, implementation and verification
•    You are a great team worker, but also efficient on independent tasks. 
•    Confident on presenting and sharing information
•    Fluent verbal communication and writing skills in English language
