Job Description

You have a passion to learn more on Digital radio Front-end (DFE) algorithms and architecture and you are excited doing a variety of different kinds of tasks requiring specialist skills at your job. You are always ready to share your knowledge and skills among the people you work with. You are a team worker but also efficient on independent tasks, and your English language skills allows you to communicate efficiently in our multicultural environment.

You will work as Technical Specialist in SoC DFE Architecture and Specification (A&S) team in close co-operation with the other SoC and BTS A&S teams. Your tasks include DFE feasibility studies, simulations, lab testing, support and problem solving, contributing to the development DFE algorithms, e.g. Digital Predistortion or Crest Factor Reduction. You will also write specifications, prepare testability, and create documentation.

Job Responsibilities & Competencies

•    Designs and owns a DFE sub-IP level architecture, and ensures integration to a DFE SoC
•    Expert in the dedicated area within specific design of the subsystem
•    Aligns with developers and other product architects to ensure the deliverable is in line with the specific requirements
•    Researches, designs, and evaluates new advanced technologies by translating requirements or strategic business objectives into final architectures
•    Defines HW/SW systems requirements for SoC customers and prepares studies and analyses existing systems
•    Determines system specifications, I/O processes and working parameters for HW/SW compatibility
•    Shares ideas for technical direction of the organizational unit
•    Acts as a professional advisor and mentor for stakeholders
•    May lead projects with manageable risks and resource requirements or small teams, handles day-to-day staff management issues, including resource management and allocation of work

Qualifications

We expect you to have:
•    MSc or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or similar
•    Strong Communications Signal Processing background, with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience
•    Expertise of MATLAB and preferably some other coding language
•    Expertise of SoC development, on ASIC or FPGA
•    Knowledge of DFE signal processing, e.g. DPD or CFR algorithms
•    Knowledge of RF, e.g. Power Amplifier designs and topologies, would be considered as an advantage
•    Knowledge of radio networks or BTS Radio system architecture would be considered as an advantage
