The team you’ll be part of

 

Our Business Group is a leader in wireless mobility networks and associated services. With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN).

 

In System-on-Chip unit, we are delivering communication ASIC’s and FPGA’s for Nokia Mobile Network product portfolio. Our core mission is to translate latest innovations and algorithms to state-of-the-art SoC’s and deliver both hardware and supporting software with high quality to Nokia products.

 

We are looking for Technical Specialist, SoC in L1 ASIC

 

What you will learn and contribute to

 

Are you passionate about solving problems?

 

As part of our team, you will:

 

  • Work with SoC professionals and with latest tools and methodologies
  • Learn telecommunication (5G, 6G) domain and relevant signal processing
  • Contribute to create SoCs for future telecom networks

 

Your skills and experience

 

You have:

  • 8+ years of relevant experience
  • Understanding of SoC, ASIC and/or FPGA technology and ASIC design flow
  • Expertise in HDLs( VHDL, Verilog), IPXACT methodology (Magillem), EDA tools (Questa, VCS, Design compiler, Spyglass), scripting languages (Tcl, Perl)

 

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Knowledge of programming languages (HLS, System Verilog RTL, C, C++, SystemC)
  • Full chip Integration experience using automation scripts/EDA tools
  • Experience handling clock/reset and power management blocks
  • Ability to understand full chip work scope and participate discussions with physical design team for synthesis/ floorplanning etc., topics
  • Experience in qualifying SoC design for Emulation platforms
  • Ability to triage the full chip issues/bugs in pre and post Si environments
  • Pro-activity, problem solving, and communication skills needed in multi-site R&D environment
