The team you’ll be part of

The pandemic has highlighted how important telecoms networks are to society.  Nokia’s Network Infrastructure group is at the heart of a revolution to bring more and faster network capacity to people worldwide through our ambition, innovation, and technical expertise.Our Fixed Networks (FN) business group provides an array of “gigabit to the home” solutions to deliver data access to our communication service provider (CSP) customers. This includes Fiber-to-the-home (FTTH), Copper broadband, WiFi AP, as well as 5G fixed wireless access (FWA). We build solutions that don’t stop inside building, but also bring that gigabit experience into the indoor by using meshed Wi-Fi solution, as well outdoort solutions.The Technial Product Manager will be accountable for soluiton planning, execution, governance and closure of the project, in terms of prove of concept, tender spec., implementation and integration from solution E2E view. Also, work with stakeholders to upate latest BU features, reflect both sides (customer and BU) timely to make sure our maximuize biz secured.


What you will learn and contribute to

  • Manages customer product, and its solution (collection of demand managed together for business benefits) or project for a defined product and / or solution scope for a medium / large and / or complex customer contract with medium / high risk probability. Contract might be defined as key project by BG / market.
  • Delivers the operational and product single/multiple BG / BUs scope to the customer.
  • Ensures product and solutions inline with BG / BL guidelines and the Nokia methodology.
  • Plans customer solution and keeps plan updated to reflect and anticipate changes by coordinating change management on all aspects affecting cost, scope, schedule and quality (CSSQ).
  • Assures consistency among product and service forecast activities.
  • Participates in pre-sales and sales process activities.
  • Determines solution delivery approach alternatives and manages the selection of the final recommended approach to delivery.
  • Ensures hand over from Sell to Execute and from Delivery to Care is done and solution secure progress against it.
  • Ensures product and solution contract management process is initiated and executed.
  • Defines the customisation of any global solution  processes together with relevant point of contacts to meet project/solution requirements (for example, network operations, supply chain, logistics, and acceptance).
  • Manages the customer relationship during prove of concept, delivery and serves as the primary interface towards the customer in terms of prouct/ solution, including solution, product, and feature complaints, corrective actions, and changing requirements.
  • Prepares a clear and effective communications plan and ensures proactive communication of all relevant information to the customer and to all stakeholders from product, soltuion view.
  • Monitors and controls that the product is delivered within the approved feature and planned scope.
  • Ensures that the product, and solution meets all objectives for quality and looks continuously for quality improvement and customer satisfaction.
  • Actively applies appropriate best practices and lessons learned throughout the life of the product. Monitors, controls and reports KPIs defined in customer contract.
  • Ensures data in all product-related tools and repositories is kept up-to-date and with high quality.
  • Conducts thorough risk management for all product/ solution risks and opportunities.
  • Seeks to define new opportunities to expand and renew contracts with the customer.
  • Leads the product/solution team and may perform some line manager responsibilities.
  • Completes the product/ solution closure and / or handover as required (for example, complete product/ solution requirements, post calculation, lessons learned).


Your skills and experience

  • Minimum 5 years of product design, management, hands on or certain experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline.
  • Experienced with product planning management.
  • Fluency in both English and Chinese languages is required.
  • Preferably with hands on.
