Technical Excellence Engineer
PROFILE
a. Required training background and/or experience
-
higher education or university degree, e.g. industrial engineer, civil engineer, …
-
a few years’ experience in Ethernet and IP related services or products
-
a few years’ experience in testing, field support in similar domains would be a plus
-
a few years’ experience in voice related services or products would be a plus
-
Prior practical experience with products typically used in the network of the customers (e.g. DHCP servers, softswitches, video servers, … ) would also be a plus
-
good command of English is essential
b. Knowledge and skills:

Have a can-do attitude. When faced with an issue, you will creatively explore all options to find an appropriate solution as independently as possible.

Trouble shooting skill

Interested in a customer support role: investigating and analyzing customer reported product issues.

Knowledge and/or experience in: Telecom and Data Communication, Unix

Good analytical, communication, documentation and negotiation skills

Software validation experience

Able to blend well into a multi-cultural and highly driven team

Capable of working independently when completing the assigned tasks

Strong communication skills and fluency in English, both written and spoken

Customer and Service oriented - solution driven

MOBILITY
Frequent trips to customers abroad, also outside Europe, are essential.
