Nokia is looking for an innovative, technical marketer with a background in content-based marketing of software product and solutions. We want someone with a start-up mindset (who knows how to take advantage of big company resources) to be a key part of the marketing team that converts Nokia Software (NSW) technologies into competitive advantage with Communications Service Provider business buyers.  Working with Engineers, product managers, business leaders, and sales you will play a key role in developing argumentation and collateral to communicate the value in Nokia Software technologies, architectures, and methods.  You will work with marketing campaign strategists to ensure your content is baked into Nokia’s reputation and demand generation campaigns in order to fuel the pipeline.  You will also build the library of product collateral and transfer knowledge to business development and sales teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage focused marketing content and activities targeting CSP IT, marketing, and operations buyers that promote Nokia Software’s reputation, support Nokia solution selection, generate demand, and grow sales pipeline.
  • Be proactive in communicating and gaining commitment from stakeholders, including campaign management and field marketing, needed to accomplish objectives.
  • Embrace the role of subject matter expert for NSW technology team developments and offerings across the company
  • Train sales teams on target audiences, campaigns, portfolio and provide sales acceleration collateral that drive opportunities to close.
  • Be an evangelist for the Nokia Software Technology team inside and outside of the organization.
  • Develop effective value argumentation and business benefit/case content

Qualifications:

General

  • 5-7 years of software product and technology marketing, product management, and/or business development to CSPs and large network operators.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field (software engineering preferred) from an accredited college/university; MBA desirable
  • Experience with value argumentation and business case development for high impact marketing
  • Strong networking and influence management skills that translate into building commitment and driving actions across organizational boundaries
  • Demonstrable business writing experience

Technology knowledge

  • Solid understanding of Cloud technologies and their technical and market evolution
  • Understanding of Network Function Virtualization in standards and the marketplace
  • Experience with and understanding of CI/CD and DevOps methodologies
  • Deep technology and Service Provider software industry understanding
