Systems Integration contains the integration and customization of Nokia solutions and 3rd party platforms to meet customer requirements. It covers customer specific solution and software design, development, implementation, unit testing and verification of hardware, platform, software, and systems including maintenance support.


The New Product Delivery team supports the Markets in first delivery and systems integration of a new Nokia product.


The System Integration Expert, a member of the New Product Delivery team, is 

responsible for the integration and customisation of Nokia products to meet customer requirements. She/he contributes to first delivery of new Nokia Software Core Engineering (NSW CE) products lead by New Product Introduction (NPI) Program pf NSW CE. In post-NPI phase the System Integration Expert leads the first delivery of a new product and supports and trains local and global service resources.


The System Integration Expert

·        Knows and works according to the Systems Integration delivery process.

·        At first deliveries:

o   Creates implementation plan, technical infrastructure documents and test cases.

o   Deploys, configure and integrates - vertical and horizontal - NSW Core products.

o   Implements defined use cases in customer projects.

o   Contributes to migration procedures.

o   Provides on-the-job training and acts as a professional coach and mentor for project staff.

·        Transfers actively knowledge and experience from field to whole CS&C organization through Knowledge Management and Competency Development program.

·        Works autonomously and effectively in a mixed environment and uses best practices and knowledge of internal and external business issues to improve products and services.

·        Uses advanced analytical skills to solve complex problems or problems that do not have routine solutions and takes a new perspective.

·        Shares initial ideas for professional direction of own organisational unit.


Requirements:

·        Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering or related discipline from a reputable institution

·        5+ years in the Telecom / IT industry and Systems Integration

·        Strong 4G and 5G Core knowledge is a must.

·        Strong knowledge of 4G and 5G Core subscriber management products: Home Subscriber Server - HSS, Home location Register (HLR), Unified Data Management (UDM). Authentication Server Function (AUSF), etc.

·        Experience in Unified Data Repository - UDR (e.g. Shared data Layer – SDL) is an added advantage

·        Excellent hands-on experience in deployment, customization and integration of these products

·        Strong knowledge in OS (Linux) and Cloud Computing (Openstack, VmWare)

·        Knowledge in Cloud Native architecture (Container, Micro-Services, etc.) and tools (Kubernetes, Docker, etc.) and DevOps methodology is an added advantage

·        Knowledge of SOAP, SPML, CONFD, LDAP.

·        Troubleshooting on protocol/interface level

·        Willingness to enter new technology areas

·        High level of self-motivation

·        Creative and problem-solving mindset

·        Customer support oriented

·        Effective communication; internal and external

·        Team worker; able to lead and influence others to achieve objectives

·        Strong command in English (speaking, writing and reporting).
