Systems Architect, NSW
Required Minimum Qualifications: (Education, Technical Skills/Knowledge)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. Candidates with degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering will be more relevant. Master’s degree is a plus.
- At least 6-8 years of professional experience including System Architecture
- Software design, software development
- Very good knowledge of Session Border Controller product(s), its functions and components,
- Very good understanding of cloud native principles, microservices, containers
- In-depth knowledge in VoIP and VoLTE architecture, entities, use cases
- 3GPP and IETF standards knowledge applicable to SBC signaling & media services and networking
- Experience and strong knowledge in IP, H.248, Lawful Interception, MSRP, RTP, RTCP, UDPTL, DTLS, SIP/SIGTRAN, SIPREC, transcoding (audio, fax, video) including TrFO, MOS, DSP
- English as working language
- System test hands-on experience would be an advantage
- Good knowledge of IMS architecture and SBC applicable use cases
- Good knowledge of session border controller services of SBC media function
- Very good knowledge of overload control, capacity and system performance aspects
- Experience with VMware, Openstack, AWS, Azure clouds, Software Defined Networking
