This business group will offer the full portfolio for customers wanting to buy mobile access networks. It target leadership in key technologies such as 5G, ORAN and vRAN.

Job description and responsibilities:

• Creating L1 Specifications and/or Architecture for RF/Baseband and massive MIMO processing.

• Partitioning and dimensioning of L1 physical layer processing, including collecting requirements, use cases, defining interfaces, analyzing options for hardware/software split

• Take ownership or contribute to the Feasibility Studies, System and Entity level specification tasks, as an author or co-author

• Support investigation and troubleshooting of the problems during feature integration 

Requirements:

A successful candidate will have most of the following qualifications:

• Master of science in signal processing, telecommunication, computer science or equivalent area preferred

• Rich knowledge of LTE/5G physical layer, knowing Resource Management design and implementation principles is a plus.

• Minimum 4-6 years of experience in product system engineering, development, system test or network engineering

• Good understanding of the SoC (ASIC/FPGA/DSP) or Low-level SW design flow and process

• Experiences on programming in Matlab/C/C++ and modeling wireless communications systems, DSP/FPGA developing expertise will be a plus.

• Pro-activity and independent problem solving through own experience and network

• Experience with requirements engineering on system and network element level

• Experience in 3GPP standardization documentation

• Good interpersonal skills and capability to work in international multi-site environment

• Fluent in written and spoken English
