About Mobile Networks

Mobile Networks, which includes mobile network products, network deployment and technical support services, and related network management. This business group will offer the full portfolio for customers wanting to buy mobile access networks. It target leadership in key technologies such as 5G, ORAN and vRAN.


We are looking for algorithm expert with broad and deep knowledge on L1 algorithms from system level all the way to L1 architecture and specification. The job includes definition of L1 algorithms, writing studies, contributing to L1 architecture and modelling of the algorithms into simulator. In this task, you would be part of the algorithm team with deep and wide expertise.

 

Responsibilities

  • Algorithm definition and optimization
  • Modelling the algorithms/functionalities in link level simulator
  • Perform technical analysis including documenting
  • Guiding other team members
  • Contributions to L1 architecture
  • L1 Functional modelling

 

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of background on wireless/telecom systems
  • 7+ years experience on L1 tranceiver algorithms
  • Proven track record on contributing to L1 algorithm definition
  • Experience on technical documentation and studies
  • Strong background in communications theory and signal processing
  • Rich experiences on programming in Matlab and physical layer simulations.
  • Master or above, major in telecommunication, electronic engineering, computer science, or related.
  • Good team working skills and capability to co-operate with internal and external stakeholders.

 

Preferred skills

  • Familiar with 3gpp L1 standardization documentation, processes and forums
  • Familiar with L1 functional architecture including receiver processing flow
  • Familiar with L1 SoC chip-set and chip-level architecture
  • Familiar with the system level impact to L1 algorithms (understands the whole concept) 
  • Familiar with HW/SW interoperability.
  • DSP/FPGA developing expertise will be a plus.
