About Network Infrastructure / IP Networks Division

Our Network Infrastructure business group (NI) includes IP, optical and network automation technologies and related services sold to our communication service provider customers as well as adjacent markets including webscale companies and enterprises. Our comprehensive wide area networking (WAN) solutions enable our customers to build and operate automated, secure, and high-performance networks at massive scale – helping to interconnect people and things from any broadband access modality to – and among - edge clouds, central clouds, the Internet, and other services and data centers.

What you will learn and contribute to

We are looking for motivated candidates into Espoo, in the department of IP Routing & Packet Core. The Nokia Cloud Mobile Gateway performs gateway and related functions within the packet core. It combines 3G, LTE, WiFi interworking and 5G capabilities all into one architecture and implements numerous critical features around these technologies. Combined with gateway, we are looking person to further develop testing for monitoring and troubleshooting product. You will act as a team member in test team for Cloud Mobile Gateway product. You will be responsible for developing test scripts, verifying new features, debug and solve problems.
Job Responsibilities & Competencies:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree or equivalent education in Computer Science, Telecommunications or other corresponding area
  • Good knowledge of programming languages (C, Python, Tcl, bash)
  • Experience of using test automation tools (like Robot Framework) and ability to interpret the data from the test results
  • General understanding of networking and IP protocol stack
  • Familiarity with Linux operating systems
  • Familiarity with virtualization and containers such as OpenStack, Kubernetes, Docker, Openshift, VMware or KV M


Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of mobile networks standards
  • Knowledge of GIT software
  • Knowledge about SW testing
