The team you’ll be part of

The pandemic has highlighted how important telecoms networks are to society.  Nokia’s Network Infrastructure group is at the heart of a revolution to bring more and faster network capacity to people worldwide through our ambition, innovation, and technical expertise.

 

What you will learn and contribute to

  • Work closely with suppliers, BU and R&D to ensure production predictability at the supplier.
  • Assists to assure capacity and output with good quality at the supplier.
  • Assist in customer complaint management through 8D management.
  • Drive implementation and validation of improvement/corrective actions.
  • Provide recommendations and risk assessments on new suppliers and new process technologies. Responsible for sustaining activities and process activities.
  • Responsible for driving the continuous improvement plan.
  • Work with the supplier to develop and implement the quality management plan using industry tools and standards to drive quality improvements and initiatives.

 

Your skills and experience

  • Candidate must be willing to be based in Hai Phong, Vietnam.
  • Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in R&D, automation or industrial engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electronics quality or engineering function.
  • Good communication skills (written and oral) in both English and Vietnamese languages, Mandarin language would be an added advantage.
  • Experience with PCBA (printed circuit board assembly)
  • Ability to work directly with suppliers to fix product quality issue.
  • Be familiar with Lean and 6 Sigma.
  • Skilled in root cause analysis and problem solving.
  • Passion for quality and continuous improvement.
  • Good computer and presentation skills.
  • Experience with large-scale projects is a plus.
  • Good working enthusiasm and teamwork spirit.
