Ideal candidate has multiple of the following qualifications, depending on the 2 domains listed above :
Radio Access Network :
• Suitable academic degree (M.Sc. or PhD in telecommunications, mathematics, physics or other relevant field)
• Expertise in state-of-the-art cellular communication systems in areas of physical layer, multiantenna technologies,
MAC, protocols, and/or radio resource management.
• Expertise in E2E network architectures, networking protocols, cloud-RAN, network function virtualization, data
analytics.
• Experience in Radio system simulations and/or link level simulations.
System architecture, networking protocols, and network automation:
• Suitable academic degree (PhD or equivalent in telecommunications, computer sciences, or other relevant field)
• Expertise in state-of-the-art cellular communication systems in areas of end-to-end architecture, optimisation of network protocols,
• Expertise in E2E network architectures, networking protocols, network function virtualization, data analytics.
• Experience in protocol design, Cloud based software architecture, Network service management.
In addition, are expected :
• Experience in working in standardization and other cooperative forums
• Proven skills in Matlab and/or C++ programming.
• Innovative and creative mind
• Strong communication skills (writing and presentation)
• Willingness of frequent travels (up to 10 weeks a year)
• Fluent English
