We are looking for Squad Group Lead, MN BB&SoC, SoC RD, Espoo

Role & Responsibility 

  • First line manager handling day-to-day people topics to all team members. Responsible for competence and career development, people management, and engagement
  • Quality and fault management ownership in own squad group
  • Organize people into operational teams, defining a clear scope for the teams, and setting targets and defining performance measurements. Enabling the teams to work and deliver independently.
  • Support teams to operate efficiently, removing roadblocks, and impediments by providing/allocating the needed objectives, measurements and appropriate resources, tools, and processes
  • Ensuring global processes and standards are met within the squad group in terms of following uniform processes, tools, and ways of working
  • Co-operate with project managers and provide support in resource and project management as well as in technical topics during feasibility and implementation phases

Position Requirements

  • Demonstrated solid people management experience and competence
  • Leadership skills and know how to engage a team
  • Strong quality and continuous improvement mindset
  • Fluent communication skills
  • Intermediate business understanding, being capable of driving operational excellence
  • High team and result orientation
  • Experience in project or product management
  • International, multi-site and multi-discipline (HW/SW) project experience
  • Seasoned R&D leader with telecommunication and LTE/5G competences
  • Over 10 years of work experience R&D in ASIC/FPGA/SW area
  • MSc / BSc degree
