Specialist, Product and Silicon characterization & Reliability

 

The team you’ll be part of

 

Our Business Group is a leader in wireless mobility networks and associated services. With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN).

 

 

What you will learn and contribute to

 

  • Reliability Engineers support SoC projects on product/process design/development/validation/testing/analysis.
  • Responsible for physical understanding, model prediction and enhancement of quality & reliability for products in advanced CMOS technologies inc. transistor, interconnect, assembly/package and testing process.
  • Defines Si/assembly/package qualification requirement and responsible for product qualification or technology certification.
  • Defines/develops/executes (partly together with silicon suppliers) stress tests, DFX requirements and research on SoC products and maintains a landscape of key technology providers, like OSATs.
  • Participates to supplier process assessments.

 

 

 

Your skills and experience

 

  • at least 10 years experience semiconductor products qualification and testing - especially testing of high-speed interfaces.
  • Understanding of Design flow and test quality assurance and knowledge of Silicon technology physics and packaging technologies (maybe included in the above)
  • Understanding on manufacturability, testability and maintainability of SoC products and packages, including multichip packaging
  • Understanding on thermal constraints for SoC and System design
  • Understanding on silicon and IC package trends
  • knowledge in data analysis tools
  • strong communication skills and ability to plan and manage activities at remote suppliers.
  • Telecom experience an advantage.
  • solid background of silicon product engineering
