Software Test Specialist – IP (SDN Controller)

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

·   Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience

·   Knowledge of network management concepts and basic protocols (e.g. Openflow, Netconf and SNMP).

·   Knowledge in IP networking, familiar with networking concepts such as Routing Protocols (ie OSPF, BGP,), DHCP, RADIUS AAA, MPLS, IP VPN, VLAN, VLL/VPLS, etc.

·  Interest in new product development and lab setups in simulated environments

·   Strong interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills are required

·   The candidate must be able to successfully work in a team oriented environment

·   Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and to work in a fast paced, innovative environment

ADDITIONAL ASSETS

·   Knowledge of Web based technologies and Javascript

·   Knowledge of virtualization, Openstack, NVF and related technologies

·   Prior and demonstrated experience in a Product Verification, Software Development, or IP/LTE/Optical Networking roles Knowledge/experience in the Evolved Packet Core of an LTE network deployment

·   Familiarity/proficiency with RHEL

·   Ability to produce high quality test strategies, test plans, and test cases.

·   Scripting languages (ie. PERL, Javascript)
