Required Minimum Qualifications: (Education, Technical Skills/Knowledge)
- A degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, IT, Systems Engineering (B.S. + experience is ok, M.S. preferred)
- At least 3 years of experience in Network Management Systems
- Optical Communication knowledge and experience
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Fluency in English
Network:
- The candidate will be at the front end of the R&D process, directly reporting to an R&D Technical manager in the area of Optical Network Management
- The candidate will have a peer relationship with Developers and Systems engineers
- The candidate will have a peer relationship with Product Management teams
- Interactions with all teams is expected daily
Competence Requirements:
- Strong experience in Java based programming technologies and framework like DOJO, JDBC, J2EE, Hibernate, Spring(MVC)
- Network Data modelling using Hibernate with ORACLE (SQL) and JDBC templates
- Experience with Build environment and packages such as GIT, Maven is preferred.
- Expertise in Optical networking technologies like WDM, GMPLS, and Ethernet /Optical Networking Standards and Modeling Knowledge and Experience (G.709, Netconf,) is desirable
- Agile/Scrum methodology
