ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
•Experience developing products in the IP networking space on the EMS or the NE
•Experience developing software to support IP Protocols - OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, MPLS, GMPLS
•Experience developing software for IP services – L3 VPN, L2 VPN, VLL
•Knowledge of modern SDN-related protocols – PCE-P, OpenFlow
•Knowledge of network management concepts and basic protocols (e.g. SNMP, NetConf, ReST)
•5 years of programming experience in Java
•Solid understanding of Object Oriented Analysis and Design
•Experience developing highly distributed, highly scalable, carrier-grade products
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required, both written and verbal
•The candidate must be able to successfully work in a team oriented environment
•Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and to work in a fast paced, innovative environment
•Knowledge/experience in Relational and Graph databases
•Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
ADDITIONAL ASSETS:
•Knowledge of SDN and related OpenSource projects including OpenDaylight and ONOS
•Experience with J2EE Application Server environment
•Experience developing ReSTful interfaces
•Knowledge of web development/JS/CSS/HTML5
•General Purpose Programming (ie. Python, Node.js)
•Familiar or proficient with UNIX/Linux OS and available shells
