The team you’ll be part of
Our Mobile Networks Business Group is a leader in wireless mobility networks and associated services. With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN).

You will be part of our Digital Front End (DFE) ASIC team where more than 100 professionals are working on Nokia ReefShark family of System-on-Chips (SoC): ReefShark | Nokia Networks
We are responsible of custom silicon which is a key element in our strategy to gain technology leadership in 5G networks. We are working with state-of-the art tools and have access to latest silicon technologies. Our team is diverse with 13 different nationalities represented. Working language is English.
What you will learn and contribute to
As a project manager you will report to the Tribe Leader. Your role is to steer and give strong contribution for team through all steps in the development cycles: specification, design and verification. Contribution here means, that you have a good hands-on experience on HW and SW interworking, and you can bring and evaluate new visions on the DFE Squad Group responsibility area.
You are ready to share your knowledge and skills with the people you work with. You are a team player but can also work independently. You communicate well in a multi-cultural team in English.
Are you passionate about solving problems?
As part of our team, you will:
- Lead SoC Top project team to specify, design, integrate, implement and verify Nokia’s state of the art 5G DFE SoC’s
- Work with experts of different areas to ensure the most competitive solutions
- Work with 5G SoC implementation on the world leading SoC’s based on the latest silicon technologies
- Co-operate with system engineers, product development teams, suppliers and other relevant functions to solve technical issues
Your skills and experience
You have:
- +8 years of working experience in high-tech industry
- Proven people management and wellbeing experience
- FPGA and/or ASIC technology understanding
- Understanding the interworking of HW and SW accelerators
- Pro-activity, problem solving capability and communication in multisite R&D environment
- Wireless/telecom understanding of at least one radio standard, like 5G, LTE, WiFi
- Fluent spoken and written English
