The team you’ll be part of
Our Business Group is a leader in wireless mobility networks and associated services. With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN).
We are looking for a SoC Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance work in a SoC organization, interacting with other development units and external vendors. The SoC Maintenance Manager will be inside an organizational unit consisting of all areas from SoC architecture and specification to product validation.
What you will learn and contribute to
The Maintenance Manager will be cooperating with R&D teams (Developers and verification engineers), Fault Coordinators, Fault Managers, Project Managers and Program Managers, in the scope of all phases from issues prioritization, to validate deliveries, as well as administration of related tools in accordance with defined Maintenance processes and guidelines.
As part of our team, you will:
- manage Care pronto backlogs and assign work to Care engineering squad
- set up internal taskforces together with other tribes
- participate and lead Task forces within Nokia units and external vendors
- participate all needed meetings related to ASICS reached IC8
- work is measured by fault correction times and quality of status reporting
- escalate issues when needed
- maintain online dashboards for all ASIC related prontos and deliveries in SoC in own responsibility area
- create and own SoC maintenance plan for SoC, including agreements in own responsibility area
- work with fault coordinators and –managers in tribes + assignee persons in fault management process
- contribute in Fault metrics & KPIs definition
- contribute to quality management
Your skills and experience
You have/are:
- BSc or MSc degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Software Engineering and / or Project Management
- hard worker
- experience of leading projects with other organizations and external vendors
- understanding basics of the Software Development Lifecycle, including incremental models (e.g. agile)
- hands-on experience with fault management/coordination
- problem solving attitude and ability to make decision even in ambiguous situation
- self-reliance and self-discipline
- organizational skills, leadership skills and effective communication skills
- willing to learn new things and discover new ways of doing
- fluent English, both spoken and written
- ability to work with Jira, Confluence, PowerBI
