SoC Architect


Job Description

We’re looking for experienced technical experts for SoC system design including hardware, software and system topics. You will be specifying latest 5G chip-sets and base station products. Focus area could be one of the following sub-domains:

  • Computer Architecture including Instruction Set Architecture (ISA) design and implementation
  • Radio Digital Signal Processing algorithms and implementation – hardware and/or software
  • Low level / Embedded SW architecture
  • Specification of ORAN and IP/Ethernet based SoC interfacing
  • SoC modelling and simulations


A successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • You have 7+ years background from development of ASIC/FPGA hardware, software or algorithms in wireless/telecom systems.
  • You have good understanding of architecture and specification work related to FPGA/ASIC/SoC, or signal processing systems development.
  • Good understanding of programmable processing architectures, such as RISC and DSP processors.
  • Strong Ethernet/IP packet processing or signal processing algorithm background related to radio, sensor, audio or video processing.
  • Solid skills in embedded C and/or assembly language programming.
  • Good understanding of digital design (ASIC flow).
  • Fluent verbal communication and writing skills in English language.
  • MSc or PhD in engineering, computer science or equivalent.

The following additional skills or experience are valued:

  • Experience with simulation platforms, e.g. Matlab or System C.
  • Solid skills in embedded real-time software and scripting (Ruby, Python or similar).
  • Basic understanding of operating systems and agile software development.
