Services Security Manager
Professional qualifications; A University degree, e.g.for Engineering in Electronics or Computer Sciences gives a good start, but a passion for technology, secure network design and equivalent work experience is even more important. Certifications in Information Security/ IT security/Privacy (CISSP/CISA/ CIPP/CIPM etc.) are an advantage. Familiar with ISO27000 series, data protection and privacy regulation and how to implement these in practice. Knowledge of network security architectures (FWs, VPNs, NIDS). Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
Experience: A manager with sound practical understanding of global business under cultural diversities is essential. Recognized expert in the fields of Information security, privacy and intellectual property in depth & breadth. Typically 8 - 10 years of relevant experience.
Understanding of business, experience in similar domain, prior expertise in IT/ Information Security, Privacy, ability to work in virtual environment, strong communication and negotiation skills.
Knowledge of telecommunications industry and compliance, experience with implementation of security policies in an international environment.
10 years experience in Information Security Systems Management, Privacy and/or Auditing, with a demonstrated track record of measurable accomplishments related to the requirements of this position.
Personal characteristics; An outgoing personality with well-developed interpersonal skills, capable of relating to people at every level; a competent oral and written presenter who can think logically and progressively, especially when under pressure.
Excellent active listening skills combined with analytical skills, and significant attention to detail. Strong strategic and political awareness with the ability to work with others at all levels, to manage conflicts and conduct difficult discussions and close matters in a timely manner. Ability to evidence experience of working with senior management and external parties, as required.
