The team you'll be part of

Our Business Group is a leader in wireless mobility networks and associated services. With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN).

You will be working as a part of experienced R&D team where you will develop and maintain 5G Cloud BTS OAM SW. We are involved in all the levels of SW development including architecture, specification, implementation, testing and maintenance. We also have responsibilities in maintaining our own cloud based testing environment and CI. You will have opportunities to take challenges, learn and develop yourself with the team that is always there to support you.

What you will learn and contribute to

We are looking for Senior SW Engineer or SW Engineer to join team developing 5G Cloud Base station OAM (Operations and Maintenance system) SW. We adjust your role and requirements for the position based on your experience level. For Senior level we expect more than 5 years of relevant experience.

You are already a multitalented developer who is able to work in all areas of SW development including fully automated testing and troubleshooting. You will feel comfortable working with any coding language. You have high motivation to learn and work in international teams. You know the benefits of agile SW development and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery practices.

Your skills and experience

You have:

- 3-5 years of experience in SW development
- Good SW development and automated testing skills (especially C++ and Python)
- Ability to work efficiently with Linux

It would be nice if you also had:

- Experience on developing and troubleshooting CI systems
- Experience and understanding of true agile way of working
- Knowledge of telecom technologies (4G/5G), Preferably also 5G Cloud OAM
- Knowledge on Cloud computing
- Knowledge on Containers and related technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience in troubleshooting and maintaining large systems
