You will be joining Engineering (R&D) team in CCS Service practice.
What you will learn and contribute to
As part of our team, you will:
· Support and implement architectural and strategic decisions for best-in-class software systems based on Cloud-native principles.
· Independently own & design the system architecture, creating technical blueprints and ensuring that the software design is scalable and aligns with the organization’s business strategy.
· Developing new systems and redesign existing ones, showing personal accountability and successful delivery
· Able to manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables
· Analysing internal and external business challenges in order to recommend best practices to improve products, processes and services
· Applying and maintaining high quality standards
· Participating in process and tools evolution and its improvements, identifying bottlenecks, deficiencies, and points for improvement
Your skills and experience
· We are looking for an experienced Software Architect to make intuitive high level decisions for software development.
· You will see the “big picture” and create architectural approaches for software design and implementation to guide the development team.
· Strong experience in managing microservice based architectures.
· Technology, engineering or related University Degree or student (MSc or BSc)
· Deep technical knowledge and expertise in at least two of the following public cloud providers: Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure
· Deep know-how on orchestration systems, like Kubernetes and Helm, with proven hands-on experience
· Containerization technologies, like Docker
· UNIX/Linux, including shell scripting, networking, storage and general administration
· Virtualization systems (e.g. VMware or Openstack)
· Automation frameworks and toolsets, like Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform, Jenkins or Artifactory
· Proficient using Git, Python, Bash and Perl
· Agile development methodologies and scaled Agile Frameworks like Scrum and SAFe.
· Fluent spoken and written English capabilities
· Self-driven and creative
· Strongly proactive and with high problem-solving skills
It would be nice if you also had:
· Good knowledge of virtualization and container concepts: Docker; Kubernetes.
· Good knowledge of IT concepts associated with the deployment of modern networks: BigData and distributed processing (Hadoop, Kafka, Spark); Cloud native software concepts (micro-services architecture).
· Knowledge of IT concepts associated with the software development tools: Git and CI/CD pipelines; Software analysis and design methodologies; Software quality and security enforcement.
