We are seeking Simulation Specialist to work in Nokia Standards organization. We offer interesting opportunities to work in 5G-Advanced and 6G research and standardization. You will be working as part of the Nokia Standards research team, including cooperation with other Nokia and Nokia Bell Labs units, as well as potential participation in research collaborations with universities and other industry players. T The primary responsibility of this position is to conduct performance analyses and link/system simulations for current and next-generation mobile wireless networks, including radio access network algorithms, architecture, and emerging technologies and new vertical markets.

Your skills and experience
- Experience with advanced system and/or link level simulations, and the associated steps from modeling, implementation, execution of simulations, results analysis, and to the final step of communication of performance results
- Experience in software development in large multiuser software development projects and related tools (e.g. Git, JIRA, ...). Experience of Continuous Integration (CI) Testing (e.g. Jenkins) and software architecture development is highly appreciated.
- Proficiency in C/C++, Matlab, and Python
- Proficiency in machine learning techniques and tools, such as, Deep Neural Networks, Deep Q learning, Python, tensorflow, Keras, etc.
- Fluent spoken and written English skills
- Knowledge and working experience in advanced mobile radio networks (e.g. radio resource management and RAN protocols from layers 1-3).
- Ability to conduct both independent research as well as being a good collaborator working as part of team, including virtual multi-site teams.
- MSc or PhD preferably from the field of telecommunications but also other fields like electronics, computer science, mathematics or physics are considered
