The team you'll be part of

Strategy and Technology lays the path for Nokia’s future technology innovation and identifies the most promising areas for Nokia to create new value. We set the company’s strategy and technology vision, offer an unparalleled research foundation for innovation, and provide critical support infrastructure for Nokia.

The Strategic Partnerships group is part of Nokia’s centralized Strategy and Technology organization.  We work in a collaborative model to drive external corporate partnerships, strategic M&A assessments, and ecosystem building.  A key focus area for the Strategic Partnerships Group is to enhance Nokia’s innovation framework – to realize the commercial impact of internal incubation and the strategic impact of external investment activities. 

As part of the innovation framework, we are building a new internal incubator to take innovative new ideas and commercialize them as new businesses. One of the first ventures is building new solutions for both enterprise customers and CSPs for situational awareness leveraging latest video and audio innovations. 

Now we are expanding our R&D team to commercialize the solution.

 What you will learn and contribute to

Are you passionate about solving problems?
As part of our team, you will:

  • Design and development of automated software tests within the agile team throughout the whole development cycle
  • Define, measure, and improve Reliability metrics, Observability (Monitoring, Logging-Tracing solutions), Ops process (Incident, Problem) and help to streamline – automate release management
  • Contribution to test libraries and tools used across the teams
  • Caring for feature verification and compliant documentation of test planning and results
  • Providing test expertise to define and drive software test strategies and initiatives at unit, component and system level
  • Actively participating in iteration planning, daily stand-up meetings, iteration reviews, iteration retrospectives and backlog refinement
  • Maintaining different software test and QA environments for different deployment architectures and development stages.
 

Your skills and experience

 You have:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer or Software Engineering, Informatics or an equivalent IT-related field of study
  • Programming skills in python is highly desirable. Skills in either C, C++ or C# is also beneficial
  • Experience with CI/CD pipeline beneficial
  • Experience in multimedia SW and cloud HW testing is beneficial
  • Experience in using connectivity tools such as Wireshark and an understanding of multimedia streaming protocols is highly desirable
  • Experience is using tools for code coverage analysis is beneficial
  • Experience in Jira and Git from testing processes and issue management perspective
  • You are a communicative and solution-oriented team-player, who likes to think out of the box and is not afraid to ask questions
  • As a fast learner, you adapt easily to new topics and situations
  • First experience with coordination of tasks and/or mentoring experience beneficial
  • Very good communication skills in English and being a team playe
