Qualifications
- MSc degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications engineering, Physics, or a related discipline. A PhD is a plus.
- Senior level expertise in wireless communication systems in areas of 3GPP core network architecture, protocols and security including standardization thereof.
- Senior level expertise in E2E network architectures and networking protocols, network function virtualization, mobile edge computing architecture, fixed-mobile interworking, open stack technology, IETF technologies for cellular networks.
- Simulation and/or prototyping experience.
- Experience in standardization support and IPR creation, track record of relevant IPR and publications
- Ability to work autonomously on complex research issues
- Ability to supervise subcontractors and students
- Knowledge of simulation as a methodology and most common simulation tools and platforms (Matlab, NS-2, NS-3, etc.)
