The team you’ll be part of

Our Business Group is a leader in wireless mobility networks and associated services. With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN).

MN RAN You will join the RAN Business Unit and will enjoy our culture of innovation, openness, discipline, simplicity, accountability, and profit mindset. Your future teams are developing Nokia 3GPP mainstream radio technology products and solutions including cross-technology responsibility (Multi Radio Access Technology). Your unit’s main priorities are flawless execution of System programs including Network Management & Optimization and attached services.

                       

What you will learn and contribute to

We are looking for software security expert from junior to mid-range level experience who can guide the R&D development and testing process with his/her security domain expertise.In this role, you can influence in new feature implementation decisions, propose alternative solution for better security posture of the product. You have a possibility to analyse security audit and test reports, implement and execute security testing for different stage of Devops pipeline.

 

  • familiar with full-stack Software development environment (Building frontend with ReactJS, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, Bootstrap. Building backend with Python flask, MongoDB or relevant)

  • Operating system (Linux and Windows) specially their hardening related configuration options

  • Virtual and cloud computing

  • containership technologies (including orchestration frameworks e.g. Kubernetes or Openshift)

  • familiar with public key infrastructure (PKI) and cryptographic protocols (like TLS) user authentication and authorization solutions static and dynamic security testing tools

  • familiar with software vulnerability management

  • familiar with threat and risk management

  • privacy related legal requirements (like GDPR, CSL, PIPEDA, HIPAA) and OWASP methodologies

  • Any certification in the field of security is considered as an advantage, but not required. (Like ISTQB Security Tester, CompTIA Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker, Offensive Security Certified Professional etc.)

 

Your skills and experience

  • Accountable for ensuring that Nokia Design for Security and Security Vulnerability Monitoring process methodology is being followed.

  • Accountable for Technical Compliance Management (TCM) process on Product-level

  • Coordinates with stakeholders to ensure DFSEC, SVM and TCM compliance for the product and release

  • Increase security awareness in the product by conducting/promoting trainings

  • possibility to support Program Management and Product Management and answer in RFI/RFQ/RFP tendering process for product security requirements

  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining security solutions to mitigate existing threats and risks

  • Passion for SW design and implementation

  • Positive mind set and approach, out-of-the box thinking

  • Language skills in English (written and spoken fluently)

  • Interpersonal and teamwork skills

  • Quality mindset and strong drive for customer service

  • Willingness of working in a multi-cultural environment

  • Analytical thinking, creativity in complex problem solving

  • Willing to share knowledge and good team play spirit.
