The team you'll be part of

 

Our Business Group is a leader in wireless mobility networks and associated services. With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN).

 

Radio Frequency Layer 1 Low Software Tribe is looking for motivated professional for the position of Scrum Master, and including SW Development development tasks depending on the skill set you own and are interested in. 
We are a part of Nokia Radio Frequency Development Unit organization. RF L1Low SW is responsible for specifying, designing, implementing, testing and maintaining radio products’ software for LTE and 5G radio access technologies and for massive MIMO and beam forming functionalities. We are divided into self-organizing scrum teams, working in Agile environment. Our products are developed mainly in C++, including those close to hardware. A common and clearly defined vision, open communication and a deep passion for innovation are the features that best describe our work environment and its unique atmosphere. What you will learn and contribute to

 

Scrum Master - Supervise the progress of current Feature Build and taking actions when needed; ensuring the timely realization of sprint content and high level of product quality 
Facilitating Scrum events: grooming, FB planning, daily Scrum, retrospective 
Providing directions and support for Product Owner and development teams around processes, operations, and tools 
Support transformation of the organization on Squad level
Facilitate continuous improvements via retrospectives
Strengthen engineering practices and Quality focus in Squads
Working with other Scrum Masters to increase the effectiveness of Scrum in the organization 
Ensure DoD compliance with global standards and continuously improve the coverage
Support APO as LPO ensuring that goals, scope, and product domain are understood by everyone on the Team as well as possible
Remove impediments in Squads
Manages Squad/Team level execution risks

 

 

 

Your skills and experience

 

You have:

Very good understanding of principles of Agile software development 
Very good knowledge of Scrum framework 
Experience in estimation and task planning 
Ability to pose far-reaching goals and achieving them step by step 
Good experience in JIRA 
Problem solving skill 
Ability to influence without authority 
Servant style of leadership 
Excellent communication skills 
Fluent English, both spoken and written 

 

It would be nice if you also had:

BSc or MSc degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar
Experience in C++ language software design in embedded systems
Experience of HW/SW integration, debugging and problem solving
Experience of Linux
Experience in version control systems (GIT/Gerrit) & other SW development tools
Ability to investigate and learn new ways of doing
