Nokia IT organization is composed of nine units:




The Infrastructure team provides core infrastructure services, laying the foundations for effective delivery of IT services across Business Applications, Enterprise Resource Planning and Digital Workplace domains. It seeks continuous service quality and cost improvements




The Digital Workplace team provides all end-user related IT services including collaboration tools, service desk & support, images and communication solutions. It aims at delivering a seamless end-user experience whilst boosting productivity and mobility of the Nokia workforce.


The Enterprise Resource Planning provides SAP services to multiple Business Groups and corporate functions, each with their own designated Business Application Owners who also act as Business Partners, representing the single face of IT to a Business Group




The Business Applications team provides end-to-end services to Business Groups and corporate functions, each with their own designated Business Application Owners who also act as Business Partners, representing the single face of IT to a Business Group or corporate function.




The Enterprise Architecture (EA) team leads the translation of the business and IT strategy into a realistic architectural design that guides and drives the development of IT service offerings. It works with respective IT functions and with the business to ensure alignment between technology roadmaps and target architectures with their respective priorities and goals.




The CIO Office defines IT strategic priorities in alignment with the needs of the business, both for today and for the future. It defines a well-articulated, multi-year iterative strategy, translating it into mandatory and discretionary investments reflected as part of an evolving IT portfolio.




The Cyber-Security team protects the Nokia organization from exposure to information breaches and cyber-attacks with the aim of minimizing operational and reputational risk. It develops and delivers a consistent set of frameworks and activities including demonstrating risk management in line with Nokia business and regulatory expectations.




The Vendor Management team leads the relationship and the financial and contract management of key IT suppliers in close cooperation with global procurement, with the aim of balancing ongoing cost with delivery performance. It ensures long term and predictable continuity of supply from strategic IT suppliers that meet the needs of Nokia's business.




Community & Employee Engagement defines and manages the engagement strategy toward internal and external stakeholders and within IT. It supports other IT functions in building common mindset and behaviours and a wider understanding of IT.

Role Summary:


The Robotics Process Automation Senior Developer / Tech Lead – DevOps Support (L2) position in IT BA RPA RUN & AIML Support shall be a team player and responsible to develop , test, deploy and support delivery and run of complex RPA automation sprints , hands-on technical issues resolution , support the RPA automation production sprints in quick turnaround time , deliver bug fixes and Change requests in a timely manner on 24 x 7 Support window.


The position requires to deliver RPA global support in 24x7 environment, need strong hands-on coding skills in Blue Prism and Automation Anywhere platforms, .NET, SAP Scripting, SQL Stored Procedure, Excel macro development, Sharepoint workflow development, problem-solving/bug fix delivery and analytical skills. Candidate should have a very strong expertise in automating processes and continuously collaborate with business teams on the process issues and develop / deliver new automation requirements. Candidate shall prepare and deliver design documents (PDD/SDD/TDD), automate complex processes by RPA coding (Blue Prism and Automation Anywhere and other scripting skills SAP Scripting, Excel macros etc as required in RPA automation delivery), test case preparation , scripts, testing and prepare /validate support documentation. Responsible to work on deployment, stabilization and receive production sprints handed over from development teams or partners. Responsible to develop and deliver  bug-fixes, on-the-fly-changes, Change requests and functional enhancements for the RPA sprints in production.


Responsible to capture change requirements, develop, test, deploy , secure acceptance and Operate.






  • Proven expertise in process automation and deliver resolution on complex issues and challenges experienced by RPA automation Sprints in quick turnaround time

  • Support and delivery RPA platform service global SLAs and KPIs in 24 x 7

  • Efficient and quick problem solving skills required in supporting RPA automation sprints in operation on a day-to-day basis covering Blue Prism , Automation Anywhere platforms, SAP Scripts, Excel macros and providing timely responses and solutions as required

  • Supporting existing processes and development / deployment of change requirements as part of a structured change control process

  • Develops and support automation processes as per the technical design document (TDD) to meet the defined requirements

  • Providing architectural control over solution designs to ensure consistency and continuity across the delivery

  • Complies with and helps to enforce design and coding standards, policies and procedures

  • Analyzing, understanding and documenting the business processes in detail where required

  • Develops new processes/tasks/objects using core workflow principles that are efficient, well structured, maintainable and easy to understand


  • Update PDD/SDD/TDD, Operating manual, UAT TC and support documents as required

  • Own end to end delivery of new RPA sprints or change request as per design document

  • Ensures documentation is created well and maintained

  • Identify and deliver potential knowledge articles

  • Identifies the defects in production that are traced back to process design, dev phases and

  • Ensures quality of coded components by performing thorough unit testing

  • Works collaboratively with teams during the product test and UAT phases and ensure the quality code and solution delivered as per SDD and TDD

  • Reports status, issues and risks to management on a regular basis

  • On time quality delivery for assigned activities as per defined SLA

  • Participate in automation delivery performance reviews with relevant internal stakeholders & business teams

  • Receive KT for new RPA automation production sprints and provide feedback on design & support documents as per structured handover to support process & it’s SLAs

  • Communicating with BP and AA on software related issues, suggested improvements and participating with other users in the Blue Prism & Automation Anywhere community.

  • Working within project planning constraints, communicating any identified project risks and issues to the delivery/project manager accordingly and providing inputs to the change control process.

  • Creating and documenting test procedures and scenarios for the pre-UAT phases

  • Follow Incident, Change and Problem Management process

  • Participate in problem analysis and identify potential impact and resolve

  • Proven Experience in Customer escalation Management is absolutely essential






  • Bachelor university degree in Engineering/Computer Science.



  • Overall 7 years IT experience including mandatory 3 Years hands-on relevant process automation / development experience in RPA Blue Prism and Automation Anywhere development  

  • Minimum of 2 years hands on experience in Automation Anywhere hands-on – duplicate with above point

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in SQL SP, .Net, VBA, C#, SAP Scripts

  • Very strong problem solving skills a critical input for the position

  • Exceptional business collaboration skills and flair on management of customer aspirations on automation delivery is essential

  • Experience in Python, Chatbot, Watson and other AI and ML technologies will be added advantage

  • Ability to work in high pressure environments

  • Excellent technical abilities, communication skills, and adaptability to new technology

  • Experience and knowledge of service delivery processes in a structured environment

  • Understands software development methodology including Agile, configuration management and lifecycle

  • Self-motivated, team player, action and results oriented

  • Experience and knowledge of Business/System Analysis in a structured environment

  • The aptitude to contribute to the evolution of methodologies and procedures in a controlled manner to continually improve a rapid and repeatable delivery channel

  • Understanding of workflow based logic and the ability to both understand a business process from a workflow diagram and to conceptualise it as an automated solution

  • A track record in training and mentoring individuals on development and delivery disciplines

  • Willingness and ability to blend business analysis with hands-on configuration of automated processes in Blue Prism /AA

  • The ability to learn quickly and progress rapidly from theoretical exercises to real world delivery and mentoring tasks.

  • Good written skills with the ability to produce clear and concise documentation

  • The ability to work with a structured and methodical approach, combined with an enquiring mind.

  • An understanding of, and a willingness to adhere to, formal change control procedures and disciplines.

  • An aptitude for problem solving, with the ability to take a logical route to the source of an error.

  • A self-starter who delivers high quality work and can adapt to new challenges, either on their own or as part of a team.



  • Certification in industry leading Robotics Automation products (BP, AA)
