Job Description
Radio Frequency Layer 1 Low Software Tribe consists of ~200 experts currently in Oulu, Hangzhou and Nanjing. We will soon establish a new SW development team in Espoo and are looking for several motivated professionals to the following positions:
- SW Engineers (several positions open)
- Specification Engineer

RF L1Low Tribe is over two hundred persons and almost ten different nationalities community.
Our collaboration with multiple teams is both local and global.
RF L1Low SW is responsible for specifying, designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining radio products’ software for LTE and 5G radio access technologies and for massive MIMO and beam forming functionalities. We are divided into self-organizing scrum teams, working in Agile environment. Our products are developed mainly in C++, including those close to hardware. Job Responsibilities & Competencies
SW Engineers
- Responsible for development of assigned piece of SW to meet expected Definition of Done
- Responsible for code and test review
- Responsible for troubleshooting (including logging) improvements
- Fault analysis and correction of issues
Main competence
- C++ knowledge
- basic knowledge of embedded Linux
- Fluent English, both spoken and written
Specification Engineer
- Create Entity level functional specifications (EFS) mapping customer user stories to requirements
- Becomes Lead Entity Specification Engineer (responsible for CFAM approval process) for features with major impact on own component/domain
- Being engaged into feature development process till feature is released
Main competence
- Strong background SW specification and architecture
- good communication and problem-solving skills
- Fluent English, both spoken and written
