Project Manager for COO NBS BPD

COO Nokia Business Services (NBS) is responsible for managing and providing core operational functions across all Business Groups (manufacturing, order management, procurement, supply chain, shared service finance and logistics) and is a strategic partner to the businesses to optimize costs, increase growth and customer satisfaction.

 

Job description:

 

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible of planning and execution of Business Projects and other initiatives which are derived from annual planning and/or business decisions. Based on business needs you will be accountable of defining the scope and objectives together with key stakeholders (e.g. process and business owners). In addition, you will be responsible for planning the project(s) (deliverables, tasks, schedule, resources, costs) and executing project according to the plan applying program and project methodology. Success criteria is to ensure project meets the intended design goals, project schedules and cost objectives are met, and quality targets are achieved.

 

In addition to above, as a Project Manager, your key responsibilities are:


- Lead and motivate the project team and ensure quality management of the project deliverables
- Plan and manage transformation projects/initiatives and guarantee maximum efficiency and quality in implementation
- Act as an ‘Operational Champion’ ensuring the agreed initiatives are accurately translated into requirements that fit the business problem statement and future needs
- Work closely with other key business stakeholders, as required, to deliver the project and ensure the operational requirements are accurately translated into design, implementation, and testing, and obtain the necessary approvals and sign-offs.
- Accountable for program goals, schedule achievement and cost performance
- Responsible for project administration, planning, budgeting, target setting and status reporting
- Monitor project progress and business case regularly and redirect if necessary the project depending on approved changes in project scope
- Establish regular and effective communication with key stakeholders
- Ensure that change management is properly planned and executed
- Systematically and proactively manage project risks, issues, and conflicts, together with key project stakeholders
- Identify and re-use best practices and applies lessons learned within the project management network

Qualifications:


- MBA in Business, Finance or Operations discipline
- Strong understanding of Telco and/or High-Tech business environments
- Min. 10 years project and program management qualifications (eg., PMI, SAFe, Scrum, DevOps)
- Min. 10 years of experience in high-tech manufacturing operations, consumer electronics and supply-chain industry
- Ability to analyze & process high volumes of information, manage multiple priorities in a timely manner; with precise attention to detail; a high degree of accuracy & extensive problem-solving experience
- Min. 5 years of developing efficient work processes for complex projects, while involving many groups and to effectively coordinate, implement and maintain processes
- Excellent O365 of PM software skills/proficiency
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Good presentation skills, moderation skills to drive change in a cross-functional environment
- Strong continuous improvement mindset & result-oriented focus
- Proactive, future-oriented and high energy level
