The Nuage Networks Business Unit within Nokia is focused on automating and virtualizing the Data Center network (DC SDN) and WAN (SD-WAN). The DC SDN product (VCS) is used by Telcos, Cloud Service Providers and enterprises to automate networking and security for their cloud infrastructure. The SD-WAN product (VNS) is widely used by enterprises who want to leverage a combination of transport services like MPLS, LTE and internet to securely connect users to cloud applications.

Job Description

Nuage Networks is looking for a creative and innovative Product Manager with a can-do attitude. The Product Manager will be working on the Virtualized Cloud Services (VCS) product used by customers to build on-demand Data Center networking with integrated security. The Product Manager for Cloud Networking role will be focused on advanced data plane technologies used in cloud networking including accelerated virtual switches and SmartNICs. The position requires working closely with customers, sales teams and the R&D organization to deliver innovative products that customers have come to expect from Nuage.

Job Responsibilities & Competencies

• Defining and prioritizing product requirements based on customer input, product strategy, market trends, competitive intelligence and knowledge of applicable technologies.
• Writing detailed Product Requirement Documents (PRD)
• Reviewing product requirements with engineering to refine feature capabilities to achieve customer satisfaction and competitive differentiation while minimizing development effort to speed customer delivery.
• Strong understanding of Software-Defined Networking (SDN) & IP network architectures
• Strong understanding of Network & Cloud Security principles
• Experience managing products with accelerated virtual switches (OVS, VPP), SmartNICs and virtual firewalls is a bonus
• Superior writing skills are essential. Must be able to create/contribute to collateral including user documentation, competitive analysis, demos, presentations, whitepapers, case studies, value proposition messages, etc.
• Innovative thinking and experience that brings different points of view to augment the team.
• Resilience in a high-pressure (but very stimulating) start-up like working environment, with a creative, entrepreneurial, and can-do attitude.

Qualifications

B.E./M.S. in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science or closely related field

MBA Preferred
