 Job Description

 PEGA systems Architect in CDO Enterprise applications Operations Organization shall be a team player and responsible to develop , test, deploy and support delivery and run of complex PEGA Applications, hands-on technical issues resolution ,  deliver bug fixes and Change requests in a timely manner and will require to work in shifts as needed.

The position requires to deliver PEGA application global support in 24x7 environment, need strong hands-on skills in design, programming, and testing on the Pega platform, problem-solving/bug fix delivery and analytical skills.

Candidate should have a very strong expertise in business processes management/automation and continuously collaborate with business teams on the process issues and develop / deliver new automation requirements. Candidate shall prepare and deliver design documents (PDD/SDD/TDD), process development, test case preparation, scripts, testing and prepare /validate support documentation. Responsible to work on deployment, stabilization and receive production sprints handed over from development teams or partners. Responsible to develop and deliver bug[1]fixes, on-the-fly-changes, Change requests and functional enhancements for the PEGA applications in production.

Responsible to capture change requirements, develop, test, deploy, secure acceptance and Operate.

Job Responsibilities & Competencies

  •  PEGA systems architect will be responsible for L2/L3 level Production Support of PEGA applications within CDO Enterprise applications operations organization
  • Responsible for PEGA platform running on cloud with multiple applications
  • Hands-on technical role able to resolve simple to complex issues and will ensure that all incidents related to supported applications are resolved in a timely manner
  • Debug and identify production issues by analyzing code and reproducing the issue in lower environments
  • Manage Change requests/ minor and major enhancements for PEGA applications from end to end.
  • Participate in high priority incident triage calls which may include but not limited to DB server issues, application server issues, code issues, data issues, and network issues
  • Partnering with other L3 support teams and PEGA Global support team to resolve issues and drive problem management
  • Review service trends, identify themes, communicate risk, and propose technical solutions
  • Monitor performance trends, system stability, and trigger preventive actions
  • ITIL Service Operations - incident, problem, and change management
  • Business communications related to technical issues
  • Job scheduling/batch management
  • Responsible for Security/data privacy and compliance of the PEGA applications
  • Support audit requests
  • Reports status, issues, and risks to management on a regular basis
  • Proven Experience in Customer escalation Management is essential
  • Manage production support for mission-critical systems
  • Will require to work in 24 X 7 shifts

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years of PEGA PRPC functional hands-on experience
  • High level understanding of PEGA best practices and Guardrail compliance
  • PEGA system architect certification (CSA) is required
  • PEGA Senior System Architect certificate (CSSA) preferred
  • Experience with PEGA cloud, PDC and Kibana  
  • Experience in PEGA AI/ML desirable
  • Experience in PRPC Integrations services using SOAP, REST, JMS webservices, consuming external web services, MQ etc.
  • Experience in migrating rules across various environments by creating Product rules
  • Experience in creating Report Definition, List View and Summary View reports in Pega
  • Experience in Pega Decision Strategy Manager framework
  • Knowledge and understanding of specific firm-wide application DB2/SQL, ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), Oracle, UNIX, Web Services, Windows SharePoint Services
  • Strong problem-solving skill, Debugging skills and independent player
  • Strong written / verbal communication skills
  • Should be able to train team members on PEGA application and incidents handling
  • Knowledge of middleware tools/consoles like Web methods
  • Previous experience in handling Pega application production support incidents
