About Cloud & Network Services

Cloud and Network Services is a leading Nokia business group that offers Network solutions on Core, Business and Enterprise segments, as well as Cloud solutions and Cognitive Services. It is a newly formed business group, that includes most of the former Nokia Software business, Nokia’s enterprise solutions, core network solutions including both voice and packet core, and managed and advanced services from its former Global Services unit. This unit will also act as a delivery channel of certain products from other business groups to enterprise customers. Cloud and Network Services (CNS) will target growth by leveraging the industry transition to cloud-based delivery, network-as-a-service business models, and software-led value creation.

Job description

As security services Partnership Manager, you will be responsible for setting the strategic agenda, driving key strategic programs, and building complementary industrial partnerships with wide variety of partner ecosystem.

We are looking for a strategist and business evangelist who understands the strategic importance of Managed Services Providers in future digital value chain and can support Nokia’s Security Services evolution into these domains. The role includes managing internal partnerships with other business groups, to make sure commercial and technical agreement are in place for products and services.

This role is expected to regularly contribute in developing strategic insights, drive various strategic programs and contribute in developing key partnerships and alliances. There is significant business development contribution also expected in these new domains and services.


Job Responsibilities & Competencies

  • Development and Management of Partnership Ecosystem for Managed Services
  • Business Development and Partnership Governance
  • Strategic visioning, positioning and initiatives for Security Services towards Operators and Digital Enterprises
  • Thought leadership and regular contribution in generating customer focused strategic insights in the domain of 5G, Internet of Things, Software Defined Networks, Network Function Virtualization, Security, Big Data Analytics etc.
  • Develop next generation value proposition for Nokia Managed Services together with Product Management and Virtualized Operations Lab teams
  • Scanning and evaluating various companies for partnerships 
  • Support in carrying out analysis of emerging customer requirements across operators and enterprises.
  • Build joint go to market strategy and pipeline with potential partners
  • Develop specific customer propositions and support business development activities together with sales
  • Present strategic managed services positioning in front of customer CxOs



  • Strong understanding of telecom (4G/5G) and next generation services and solution ecosystem (e.g. SDN/NFV, IoT, Security)
  • Experience working as Partner / Principal / Research Leader with consultancies or research houses or in a strategist, enterprise architect or business incubator role within operators and vendors
  • Ability to work at strategic and architectural levels in next generation services
  • Ability to communicate and present strongly at various levels
  • Able to effectively work with cross functional teams
  • Management or Economics degree (preferred)
  • Travel (approx. 20%)
  • Highly disciplined approach to business - focus on prioritisation, delivery on commitments, and opportunity / issue tracking
  • "Start-up" mentality but able to cope with corporate processes and pressure
  • Ability to operate efficiently in a heavily matrixed environment - leveraging diverse resource groups while serving multiple internal customers
  • "Soft selling" skills - supporting the selling process, not controlling it
  • Scrupulous adherence to corporate guidelines on business ethics

Experience required - > 12-20 years

Education – Master’s in economics or Business Degree or Equivalent


Preferred certifications:

  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)  
  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
  • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
  • Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
  • ISO/IEC 27001:2013 LA/LI
