The team you’ll be part of

Our Business Group is a leader in wireless mobility networks and associated services. With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN).

MN RAN You will join the RAN Business Unit and will enjoy our culture of innovation, openness, discipline, simplicity, accountability, and profit mindset. Your future teams are developing Nokia 3GPP mainstream radio technology products and solutions including cross-technology responsibility (Multi Radio Access Technology). Your unit’s main priorities are flawless execution of System programs including Network Management & Optimization and attached services.

                       

What you will learn and contribute to

Ensures compliance of Nokia product and packaging identification labels and markings with Nokia product identification platform specifications, relevant industry standards and regulatory provisions. Ensures and supports the implementation of the specifications within Nokia product creation, supply chain, and services processes.

Responsible for Nokia Networks global product and packaging identification and marking concept and processes.

Operating the Nokia product and packaging identification process first level support and identification label approval service towards suppliers and Nokia internal parties.

  • Creating and maintaining identification and marking specifications, guidelines and instructions

  • Ensuring and supporting implementation and use of the specifications within our product development, services and supply chain processes and tools

  • Acting as an expert contact point for and co-operating with our R&D, factories and suppliers

  • Handle on daily basis the incoming identification platform related support requests and questions.

  • Verify identification label samples against specifications, align with the requestor, provide approvals.

  • Coordinate solving daily issues, provide advice, distribute specifications and guidelines as needed.

  • Support in organizing ad-hoc training for suppliers, internal colleagues.

  • Support the creation, maintenance, and implementation of identification specifications and process descriptions.

  • Create operational reports

 

Your skills and experience

 

  • Service minded

  • Fluent written and oral communication in English

  • Passion and ability to learn technical topics

  • Effective networking capabilities and comfortable in multicultural environment and virtual teams

  • Team player with an open and transparent communication styleAdvanced knowledge of product identification technologies, product and package markings and barcoding, as well as experience in manufacturing or supply chain environment is an advantage.

  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in product support services or similar technically oriented position in a multicultural, virtual organization.

  • Packaging or Printing Press Engineer Degree or equivalent work experience preferred (B.Sc.).
