Overview / Purpose of the Role:
Accountable for the analysis of customer, technical and operational requirements to ensure the end to end operation of the WING solution is built into the design.
Lead on the development of operational and business processes, required to support the ongoing operation of the WING solution.
Being a leading member of the program team, supporting other functions to ensure service Launch to required timeframe.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Capture, collate, analyses and fully document and own Functional, Operational, Security, Regulatory & Capacity requirements related to running of WING service in a global environment, within the WING operational context.
  • Identify and agree ownership of requirements
  • Identify, analyses and document Service Requests which are required to support the overall WING solution.
  • Accurately document and deliver new operational and business processes and service requests within WING Operations, ensuring interlock with customers’ and suppliers’ processes as necessary.
  • Engage and effectively support the Project Manager, Solution Architecture/Design leads, Operational leads, Customer Operations Launch leads and other key stakeholders in the production and review of essential project documents for the proposed Solution.
  • Based on product expertise and industry standard, provide professional advice for better operation efficiency and customer experience
  • Document workflows and associated tools and templates resulting from business analysis and obtain sign-off from internal and external stakeholders on the specifications.
  • Ensure operational tools are appropriately configured to support processes and service requests, through provision of accurate requirements to relevant tool administrators
  • Develop use cases for operational processes, and support the OAT/ORT Test Manager in developing appropriate test cases, and the execution of testing
  • Support Operational leads in process training and knowledge transfer.
Experience Required
The successful candidate will need to be able to represent Nokia WING and engage in discussions with technical stakeholders.  The following technical experience is therefore important.
    • Mobile Network experience, including Core Network operations in a cloud environment
    • Connectivity Platform experience, including Sim Provisioning and CDR rating
    • IOT Connectivity
    • Operational tools, including BSS, OSS and Service Management tools
  • Demonstrable experience analysing and documenting complex business requirements, processes and Use Cases.
  • Over 5 years of professional experience as Business Analyst in the Telco industry
  • Experience of IoT-based projects.
  • Demonstrable experience writing requirements specifications for Information Systems.
  • Deep understanding of eTOM.
  • Experience of ITIL
  • End to end experience of the project lifecycle.
  • Proven experience interacting directly with end users.
  • Results orientated with good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong experience in telecommunications industry in BSS/OSS domain
  • Excellent facilitation skills and the ability to develop good working relationships with stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels
  • Supported successful business process reorganization projects
Educational Requirement:
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant discipline, backed by industry experience in the required discipline
