Job Description

 

·       To assure safety workplace and prevent any Incidents / Accidents. to ensure that everyone who works on behalf of Nokia will go home safely at the end of the day

·       Enhancement of Environment from Green to Gold 


Job Responsibilities & Competencies

 

·       Implementation & sustenance of  ISO 45001:2018   & ISO 14001 standard requirement

·       Compliance to Legal requirement related to Safety / Environment 

·       Near Miss  reporting promotion

·       HSE periodic training to all relevant stakeholders

·       Incident Investigation and reporting in Archer

·       Warehouse Safety Management

·       Conducting Safety Audits

·       Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment(HIRA) / Environment Aspect Impact Review

·       Issuance, monitor & control of work permit

·       Contractor Safety Management.

·       Organizing  periodic Health Camps & Health Talk session

·       Occupational Health Centre Operations

·       Safety committee meeting

·       Employee behavior study  for safety controls

·       Organizing  Visit & Inspection by GOVT agencies

·       Handling external Audits on HSE requirements

·       Employee engagement on HSE

·       Driving environmental programs & initiatives

·       OHS Line Qualification Assessments

·       Driving safety management programs

·       Driving HSE Improvements in production line

 

 

Qualifications

  • Candidate should be RLI certified for industrial safety
  •  or Should have completed ME industrial safety course from reputed institutes 
  • Candidate should have minimum of 10+ years’ experience in manufacturing industry in Health & Safety and Environment  
  • Should have lead / internal auditor certification for ISO 14001 or OHSAS 18001
  • Must have communication skills in local language as well as in formal language
  • Should have the capability of leading the projects individually
