Legal Counsel Japan
- Japanese Bar Qualified lawyer (will consider US qualified lawyer with LLB from Japanese university)
- Minimum 5 years PQE
- Trained/qualified at a top tier, reputable corporate/commercial law firm
- Excellent academic record and working references / credentials

Exceptional communication skills and fluency in Japanese and English

Able to travel as needed
- Experience in general ethics and compliance matters, familiarity with Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and European anti-corruption laws (or commitment to develop skills/knowledge in this area).
- Experience in technology or telecommunications industry
- In-house counsel experience in a global multi-national company
- Extensive experience in drafting commercial documents and managing negotiations with customers
- Excellent legal skills and knowledge of contract and commercial law
