The Solution Designer will be responsible of the design, functionality, structure, configuration, quality and technical solution of Virtual Meetings and Softphone, Presence and Chat services. She/He manages the design of the services and solutions in her/his scope, guides the IT providers' technical solution teams, performs the necessary acceptance and assures the quality after the realization for IT solution. In cooperation with other IT functions, she/he performs and validates requirement analysis, prepares offer requests to providers and evaluates answers. The Solution Designer also participates in the preparation of project proposals, the project business case and in the implementation of projects. She/he will assist the outsourced partner to ensure IT services are running smoothly and assure high end user satisfaction by supporting resolution of the business as usual problems.
Position Requirements:
Must have:
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science or equivalent field;
- 2-5 years of experience in domain of Unified Communication, VoIP, Voice, Telephony, Virtual Meetings or other IT UCC or Infrastructure services;
- General knowledge of telecommunication area;
- Analytical thinking skills;
- Eager and capable to work in a global multi-cultural team and to develop him/herself;
- Strong customer focus;
- Drive to deliver results, “getting things done” attitude;
- Honest, working with integrity and building trust;
- Excellent verbal and written English language and communication skills;
- Good presentation skills.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of the Cisco (WebEx/Jabber/Video/Teams) and/or Microsoft (Skype for Business/MS Teams) portfolio and offerings in UC area will be an asset;
- Good general IT network knowledge;
- Capable to work as part of the globally dispersed team;
- Capable of managing provider team;
- Capable to understand and develop business cases;
- Understanding and thorough knowledge of ITIL processes.
