IT Project Manager
The ideal candidate will demonstrate needed experience and ability to work as IT Technical Project Manager. In practice that means having technical discussions about scope and objectives with the key stakeholders, users, and with the IT solution designers/service owners and architects. He/she is skillful with dealing with teams of Procurement and IT Vendor Management in order to ensure project delivery runs smoothly
IT Project Manager understands and manages the technical scope of the project and its impact to business processes. Skillfully performs project manager role, manages the project schedule, budget, resources, risks, etc. through the duration of the project.
IT Project Manager will be responsible for successful management and coordination of projects and project related activities.
Position Requirements:
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science or equivalent field
- At least 5 years of experience in project management, and proven track record as a leader, managing medium to large IT projects from concept to deployment
- Additional project management degree proven by preferably PMP certificate will be an asset
- Strong working knowledge of project management tools and best practices, e.g. Microsoft Project or Project Online
- Ability and proven experience managing multiple ongoing projects and aggressive timelines
- Ability to lead complex projects with global project teams and different service providers
- Experience contracting, working and managing 3rd party providers
- Ability to work through conflicts at all levels, conflict resolution
- Capable to understand complex requirements for the services in scope, and translate them into solution requirements and improvement plans
- Capable to understand and develop business cases
- Financial understanding managing and planning project costs
- Adaptable to both Agile and Waterfall project delivery modes
- Eager and capable to work in a global multi-cultural team and to develop him/herself
- Knowledge and understanding of Unified Communication services, basic tools and market trends will be an asset
