Key Competencies:
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to summarize disparate information in a clear and concise manner

  • Highly independent and self-directed individual capable of working with minimal supervision

  • Good understanding of complex IT environments and factual and theoretical knowledge to identify and retrieve information

  • Good appreciation of customer needs at both operational and strategic levels and the ability to mediate and guide within potentially conflicting customer requests with regards to their respective needs to adapt Nokia’s current Event Management tooling solution landscape and repercussions for ServiceNow adjustments and interconnected systems

  • Able to act in and to coordinate people and stakeholders in a multidisciplinary and multi-cultural environment, including external IT providers, Nokia IT technical teams, as well as technicians from business areas

  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to translate and mediate between different parties from a more technical/architectural design language to non-architectural experts and further project members

  • Ability to research, analyze and recommend continuous improvement of Event Management solutions and ITSM processes for greater effectiveness and efficiency

  • Excellent report writing and organizational skills

  • Excellent influencing skills

  • Ability to think strategically in terms of culture and behavior, business processes and technology and tools

 
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field from recognized university

  • At least 5 years of experience within the ITSM Management realm with a particular track record in Event Management Process and Monitoring related activities

  • Experience with ServiceNow use, reporting and development

  • Excellent analytical, conceptual, data analysis and reporting skills

  • Fluent in written and spoken English

  • ITIL V3 foundation /intermediate certification

     
Preferred Qualifications:
  • ITIL V3 expert certification

  • Implementation Specialist certification strongly preferred

  • Excellent knowledge of tools such as UPM-X, EI-ESB, Power BI and IAM platforms

  • Excellent knowledge of the Nokia Event Management tooling landscape mentioned above

  • Integration Technologies: Redhat Fuse, TIBCO

  • Industry standard IT information security technologies
