Qualifications
- University degree in Computer Science, Software or related technology discipline or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of experience in working with IP and/or Optical networks
- Experience in working with other business units such as IT, corporate security and 3rdparty vendors such as HP
- Special consideration to candidates that have achieved or are working towards obtaining Nokia certification in IP, Optical or Nuage networks
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- A Passion for problem solving and attention to detail
- Experience with Linux operating system and Linux scripting
- Experience troubleshooting complex production Telecom networks
- Experience setting up Linux and Windows servers and test equipment
- Data Centre experience including HP Servers, Citrix, Network protocols and IETF Standards
- Knowledge with Cloud Management Systems (CMS) such as VMware vCloud, OpenStack
