Required Skills:
- Degree in Computer, Electronics, Telecommunications Engineering or equivalent.
- Leadership ability to lead Design and Integration services contracts for IP/MPLS Networks. Ability to support customer
and PM to elaborate schedules, implementation and/or migration plans defining detail and phases based on technical and
project priorities;
- Advanced practical knowledge on:
• Routing and Switching;
• TCP/IP;
• IP/MPLS Protocol;
• IP/MPLS Services (VLL, Pseudowires, L2VPN, L3VPN, IP Dedicated and etc);
- At least theory advanced knowledge on:
• QoS;
• Multicast;
• Logical solutions for services protection and redundancy;
• Logical solutions for interrogation with external elements like DSLAMs, GPON, BRAS, RR and others;
• Concepts and best practices for IPv4 -> IPV6 migration;
- Advanced level of Portuguese and English language;
- Available for local and international travel;
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines;
- Willingness to learn new things with a good attitude;
- Customer service, communication and problem-solving skills;
- Minimum of 5 years experience in IP/MPLS Networks designs.
Desired:
- Experience in Alcatel-Lucent, Cisco, Juniper switches/routers;
- Experience in CORE, MetroEthernet and Backhaul network applications;
- Certifications related to concepts related above;
- ALU service concepts like Epipe, APipe, IPipe, CPipe, VPLS, VPRN, IES, SAP, SDP e etc;
- External Routing Protocols (ie.: BGP, MPBGP);
- MPLS (ie.: RSVP-TE, LDPoRSVP);
- HQoS.
