Within the Bell Labs, the BR Lab is pursuing the realization of « Big, Hairy, Audacious Goals », towards Human Augmented Intelligence & Machine Augmented Intelligence.

 

Fueled by Bell Labs’ research worldwide, we are designing and building the next stage of intelligent human-machine collaboration, with new devices, services, platforms and algorithms.

 

We are an international team based in the Sillicon Valley (Sunnyvale), in New Jersey (Murray Hill), in France (Paris-Saclay) and Ireland (Dublin).

 

Located in Essonne in Nozay, within the perimeter of the Paris-Saclay scientific and technological cluster, the position will contribute to develop an indoor localization system based on A.I. in the context of Smart Campus use-cases.

 

The candidate will have to show innovative thinking. It will contribute to Nokia's BR labs as follows:

 

·       Design, implementation and evaluation of the indoor localization based on A.I.

·       Develop and test the solution on site (deploy and combine A.I. back-end algorithms with new devices augmenting humans or mobile robots, manage the connectivity between the back-end and devices or mobile robots, and test the solution in the Nokia Paris-Saclay campus).

·       Implement real use-cases of smart campus.

·       Collaborate with people from different backgrounds and teams in an international context


Skills to acquire or develop during the internship or the period in the workplace: Python, real-time APIs and digital connectivity (web-services), Virtualization (Openstack and, AWS), Containers, GPU, Deep Learning, TensorFlow, Keras, Video and Image processing, mobile robot, English. 

 
This is an internship of a maximum duration of 6 months in full-time that will take place in the department Nokia Bell Labs of Nokia Paris-Saclay.
